BJP Senior Leader and Leader of Opposition Jay Naryana Mishra has argued that in Odisha there is no Democracy. Everyone from Peon to Officer is corrupted. So a delegation of 22 MLAs will move to Delhi soon. The Delegation will meet President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J P Nadda and the Election Commission of India to aware of the ongoing corruption in Odisha.
Mr Mishra said ED and CBI are investigating various corruption cases in many states. Then We will request the PM and Home Minister to these two high-profile investigating agencies to investigate the corruption in Odisha from Mining to Chitfund. Also, We will meet part President J P Nadda to make strategies to strengthen the Party and to aware the people against this corrupted Govt.
Congress President Sarat Patnaik sharply reacted to the BJP’s Statement. He said BJP and BJD are political brothers. They are 50-50 partners in every corruption in Odisha. The chit fund and Vedanta are examples of corruption. The BJP is Going to Delhi for their personal Gain. Even after they will return from Delhi ED or CBI the body will come to Odisha.
However, BJD Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Sasmita Patra gave a direct shoot over BJP’s Delhi Strategy. He said BJP leaders should raise various issues like raise issues like NHAI Projects, Banking Issues, Tele density, GST on Kendupatra and Railway projects in the state.
