Today All Odisha Private Bus Owners will go on an Indefinite Odisha strike. They are protesting opposing the LAccMi yojana launched by the Odisha Govt. The buses will paralysed from 6 AM onwards. During the Puja Vacation people will face a huge problem, While going to villages for Celebration.
Earlier On 10th October the association called for a strike. But was postponed after a meeting with the CMO. And they assured us to fulfil their demands as soon as possible. But After the inauguration of the LAccMI yojana, the buses started running at District and Block levels, Which was denied by the state Govt. But The govt has not followed his words. Due to the scheme, the private buses will have a huge loss during Puja time. So the association has decided to go on strike.
After The association’s decision to strike, The CMO and Transport Dept called for a meeting with the private bus owners association. But the fruitful decision has come out as said by the secretary Devendra Sahu. Minister Tukuni Sahu said another meeting will held on the 26th of October. So the association has decided to continue the strike till the demand is fulfilled.
