Similipal to Rewelcome the tourists from Oct 14

The Similipal Nation Park is scheduled to welcome Common visitors and tourists from October 14. As it was scheduled to open on November 1. But with Public demand and for favorable climate we have rescheduled to open the National park on October 14 as written in the notification issued by the wildlife conservator of Smilipala.

Tourists can enter the Similipal Tiger Reserve located in Mayurbhanj through two gates one is the Kaliani gate on the Jashipur side and the other one is pithabata on the Baripada side. Around 25 to 35 Four-wheelers will be allowed daily. The Visitors can book tickets from the counter from 6 am to 9 am, this is also the entry time to the park. And before 5 pm the visitors have to leave the park, from Barehipani and Jaranda by 3 pm and Chala by 4 pm. The visitors are not allowed to carry plastic items like bottles, bags, alcohol, food items etc. They also can book a night stay online. If the vehicle operator does not follow the guidelines then a 4000 rupee fine will be imposed. Many routes of the park are closed due to renovation. This time the visitors will enjoy nature and eco-tourism in the National Park, Said the Official.

Similipal National Park is one of the largest tiger reserves in India, spread over 2750 sq km. Rather than a Wild tiger, it’s also called an Elephant reserve and the home of various other wildlife animals. It is the park for the Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, gaur, and chausingha. This protected area has been part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 2009. The Biodiversity, Greenery, and Waterfalls are the splendid beauty of the National park.
