BJP Holds 12 hours Sundargarh Bandh, Demanding CBI investigation over two lady officers death case

The Women’s wing of Sundargarh Bharatiya Janta Party called 12 hours Sundargarh Bandh demanding a CBI investigation over the death case of Assistant Collector Sustima Minz and ASI Alisha Lugun. Assistant Collector Sushmita Minz working at Rourkela ADM office and ASI Alisha is posted at Udit Nagar Police Station.
BJP Mahila Morcha and BJP Adivasi Morcha joined the Sundargarh BJP unit to support the protest. The lady protesters were seen picketing at strategic locations in the district from 6. am the morning. The impact of the strike was seen in the district headquarters and other distinct places like Bonai, Gurundia, Lahunipada, and Koida Blocks. The bandh is affecting the normal life in the district.
The shops, educational institutes, Markets, and Offices are shut down in the bandh. The Buses are seen parking in the stands, While the cars and bikes are seen parking on the sides of the road affecting the Bandh.
As per the report On September 19 evening, Assistant Collector Sushmita Minz was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the pond of Centurian Park. Her Family Members alleged that she was murdered. Likely Alisha Lugun went into an accident side on October 1, when she felt uneasy and was rushed to the hospital, Where the Doctor declared him Dead. The sudden death of a Police officer raised various questions. FIR was Registered under IPC 302 over the allegations of her husband.
After the incident, both family members alleged an interlink between the deaths of both officers. They tried to put a finger against Rourkela ADM Subhankar Mohapatra and Sundargarh Collector Gavali Parag Harshad, Gurundia BDO Bernadeth Lakra and Sundargarh CDPO are involved in the matter.
After the allegations, SP ordered a DSP-level team to investigate the Sushmita Minz murder case. and two were detained over the ASI death case. Rourkela SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra clarified no connection between Assistant Collector Sustima Minz and ASI Alisha Lugun’s death cases.
